Fishtank is a local agency that offers online solutions and consulting services.
Alongside the usual portfolio and content, they wanted a site that would aggregate what their various customers were up to but also pick up on the online chatter concerning these customers as well as their actions.
In order to do this, I designed and built a custom web application using Python and the Django framework. This application talks to the API (Application Programming Interface) of online services such as Twitter, Flickr and Youtube, scanning for keywords, names or tags entered into the backend by the Fishtank team. The resulting tweets, photos, videos or links are then added to the stream on the home page.
